- Music Man won best in show for the Gamechanger at the Winter NAMM Show 2011; this is a pickup switching system upgrade that is currently available only on the MM Reflex guitar and bass models. Traditionally electric guitars and basses use analog switches that select from 3 or 5 analog pickup combinations. The Gamechanger is a proprietary technology that uses digital switching to access every possible analog wiring combination of the pickups (any or all of the coils, in series or parallel, in or out of phase). The Gamechanger has unlocked the electric guitar and bass!
