After operating its string manufacturing operations out of interim facilities in Indio, California, for the past three years, Ernie Ball, Inc. has moved to a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in nearby Coachella. Attractively landscaped with ripe grapefruit trees and young palms, the 60,000 square-foot space puts virtually all operating departments of the Ernie Ball Company under one roof.
The expanded Coachella facility employs approximately 300 people and will manufacture 250,000 music-related products each day, including Slinky strings and Ernie Ball accessories. The Music Man division of Ernie Ball Inc. continues to manufacture guitars and basses in San Luis Obispo, California.
“This was a highly anticipated move that we’re really excited about,” said Brian Ball of the Ernie Ball company. “We’ve got everyone from manufacturing to sales comfortably situated in one place, which facilitates better communication between departments and provides for a more efficient, improved workspace.”
Marving Company wishes success and harmony to friends at Ernie Ball’s new premise!
